About My Clients
I specialize in working with women who are navigating infertility. I provide emotional support and help individuals process emotions that are often ignored while undergoing physical treatments. I also specialize in working with the elderly who have multiple medical issues, life transitions (loss of a spouse, loss of independence), past traumas, and/or learning to manage anxiety.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has experience in working with people ranging from ages 8 through 97 years old. Since 2007, I have worked in psychiatric hospitals, foster group homes, worked with terminally ill patients, individuals in crisis, women undergoing fertility treatment and with people who are experiencing anxiety, stress, those who feel stuck or overwhelmed and those who improve their quality of life. I view my role as a therapist as a relationship of change; a space where you can express yourself without judgment, uncover your goals and discover ways of becoming the best version of yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in a holistic approach to therapy, which focuses on promoting personal growth and development through an integration of all aspects of an individual, rather than focusing on just one aspect or an illness, to lead a more fulfilling life.
