Feelings of inadequacy and never being enough are toxic cycles. They affect how you act in relationships, handle situations, and view the world. As a second-generation Asian American, I understand the impact of culture and family dynamics. Growing up, there may have been pressure to fit a certain mold. Now, you may find yourself struggling with boundaries and perfectionism. These are symptoms of intergenerational trauma which I specialize in, or they may stem from other areas of your life.
It's hard for you to put yourself first or even ask for help. You're usually the the go-to person for your family, friends, or coworkers so prioritizing your own mental health almost feels selfish. Your inner critic's voice is so loud that you know something needs to change. You usually just "push harder" since you feel like you're never doing enough, but you're feeling stressed and overwhelmed.
I support individuals through diverse life challenges—stress, anxiety, depression, work/school-related issues, identity exploration, and self-esteem enhancement. My approach is tailored to address the unique needs of each individual, creating a welcoming and empowering environment for positive mental health outcomes. While I enjoy and extend my services to children and adults, my particular expertise is in guiding teens & young adults through the complexities of these challenges.
My goal during our sessions is to create a container that is safe, caring, and trusting. By working together, you will become better able to develop a deeper understanding of the challenges in your life. You will become more receptive to the possibilities that await you and better able to move toward goals that bring greater satisfaction and commitment in your life.

Most of my clients are smart and savvy, and usually have a pretty good sense of why they're meeting with me. It may be due to relationship challenges. It may due to managing ADHD, depression or anxiety. What my clients have in common is the desire to work closely on their challenges, and the ability to make a connection with their therapist, in this case, me!
There is a reason why you are reading this today. You are stuck, or your life is in crisis. In my therapy practice, I don’t see people for emotional tune-ups. It just doesn’t happen that way. There are plenty of self-help books and mindfulness practices for that.

I love working with individuals of all ages to better understand themselves and to develop a deeper connection to their internal world. I have experience working with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, self esteem issues, relationship issues, trauma, substance abuse issues, and more. Being able to identify the core beliefs one holds about themselves, others, and the world allows them to be able to create a space of change and self compassion.
Are you struggling to cope with life transitions? Many of us are experiencing significant anxiety due to changing work environments, parenting children who aren’t in school or attempting to navigate the changing social conditions. Are you feeling stressed by a traumatic event? Perhaps you are experiencing a divorce, have family conflicts or are alone as an empty nester. These circumstances can impact your connection with family, colleagues, and most importantly, the relationship with yourself.
I help people to cope with depression, anxiety, sexual issues, marriage challenges, gender issues, addictions, grief, ADD, relationships, sex addiction and family issues. I've helped celebrities, business leaders and the general public to move forward with their lives
I have particular passion for serving those with complex body relationships, who want to understand their ADHD or autism better, who crave support as they deconstruct their spiritual histories, who are frustrated by vague therapy answers, who fear they are "too much" or "too different". Overall, those who want to find the beauty in the darkness rather than denying the darkness, and who want to sit crooked and talk straight.

You're exhausted, overwhelmed, and tired of feeling anxious and on edge all the time. You've thought about calling a therapist, but you're worried that no one can understand what you're feeling or what you've been though. You think you should be able to handle it all on your own, but things aren't getting better. Deep down, you know that it is time to ask for help. Even if you've felt this way for a very long time, it is possible to feel better... You don't have to do this alone.
If you feel alone, lost in your thoughts, or feel disorganized about where to begin but know that you want to begin somewhere then you're in the right place. I work with people to break down their thought patterns and address negative self-talk or self-beliefs that hold them back. I help people live an empowered life, free of things that make them feel “left behind” so that they can live in harmony with themselves and others.
