My practice is centered on providing empathic support and effective strategies primarily in Marriage Counseling and Couples Therapy. I specialize in addressing relationship issues, helping partners understand each other better, communicate more effectively, and resolve conflicts to strengthen their bond. My therapeutic approach is tailored to the unique needs of each couple, integrating various methods to foster deeper connections and mutual respect among partners.
With a liberation psychology lens, I welcome the opportunity to safely explore and work with all people regardless of social location. A therapist is not here to tell you what to do but to help you uncover the hidden barriers that keep you immobilized and explore new perspectives and possibilities. Together, we can work through your challenges and find a path to healing and growth. Therapy is a collaborative process, and I am here to support you every step of the way.
I work with people that are experiencing anxiety in relationships at home and/or work. Also people suffering from regret, sadness or depression around past or current relationships. Being our authentic selves often requires deep insight and healing. However, once we have searched within and healed internal wounds we are more able to communicate honestly and effectively and live free of painful and anxious thoughts and moods. Loving yourself will expand all relationships that you are experience.
I want to understand the nuances of your experience. I frequently meet with people who have doubts about seeking help, or last time they tried therapy it didn’t work out. Many of my clients have been told something was wrong with them, that they are not normal, and that their values and preferences are not acceptable. Sometimes they have taken this on and live under pressure. I’d be honored to talk with you as you journey toward your hoped-for life.
I work with people that are struggling with painful experiences from their past and want to heal trauma. My clients often identify as women, trans or non-binary, bi-cultural or BIPOC. Many are intellectuals, activists, creatives and the like—some for whom traditional talk therapy has not been successful. I will work collaboratively with you to understand your instincts and process unresolved stuff in you nervous system so you can feel satisfied in your life.

Many of my clients begin therapy saying they've always felt like they didn't belong. They've never really been understood. They've been cast aside or have done a lot of pretending to fit a mold to fit in. Most people inherently want—need, really—to belong. When we feel we don’t, we come up with all kinds of strategies to meet that need, or numb the pain of going without. Sometimes these strategies stop working or get in the way of our being ideal selves. This is where therapy can be beneficial.
I support adults through times of life transitions. I offer multimodal strategies for adult clients struggling with career optimization, in many cases due to (undiagnosed) ADHD based performance issues. Clinical specialties include: adult ADHD and Executive Functioning Coaching, perfectionism and shame resilience, codependency, imposter syndrome, relationship issues, communication problems, low self-esteem, grief and loss, parent coaching, self-regulation, anger management, anxiety & depression.
If you're seeking a therapist, you likely feel something is "off" but unsure how to address it. Feeling exhausted, stuck, and dissatisfied, you may wonder, "What about me?" and realize “I matter too.” My clients find a safe space to explore emotions, prioritize themselves, rediscover their needs and reconnect to what matters. They aim to understand why they are stuck and find a path to a vibrant, joyful, and fulfilling life. Unsure if you need therapy? You don’t have to do this alone.
