About My Clients

A lot of my clients are people who have achieved a lot but struggle to feel good enough. I can help with anxiety, panic attacks, OCD, ADHD, disordered eating, binge eating disorder, negative body image, & perfectionism. I create a safe and nonjudgmental space where you can be yourself. My style is compassionate, engaged, and encouraging. I'll equip you with tools to change unhelpful patterns of thought & behavior. As a result of our work together, you'll cultivate more peace, confidence, & joy.

How I Can Help You

I've helped hundreds of clients over the past fifteen years. I'm skilled in several evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindful Self-Compassion, Health at Every Size (HAES), and Intuitive Eating. I’ll tailor these approaches to your unique circumstances and needs. We'll set goals guided by your values and priorities. I will create a treatment plan to help you reach them. Together, we'll take small steps to make larger changes in your life and I'll support you every step of the way! Meeting with a new therapist can feel scary and vulnerable. That's why I offer a free 20-minute consultation to help you get a sense of my approach and to ensure that I'm the right fit for you. Visit my website to learn more: www.CompassCBT.com

My Values as a Therapist

*Diversity*I am a Jewish refugee who immigrated to the United States from Ukraine in 1995. I deeply honor multiculturalism and intersectionality. I meet clients of different races, ethnicities, national origins, sexual orientations, gender identities, sizes, and ability levels with respect. I honor these differences and the impact of systemic factors on mental health and wellbeing. *Compassion*Compassion toward others creates a better world and comes easier to most of us than compassion toward ourselves. I know the transformative power of self-compassion firsthand and teach my clients to cultivate it for themselves. *Connection* I aim to foster the same kinds of safe, authentic, and compassionate relationships with my clients as I cultivate in the rest of my life. I help clients break free from unhelpful beliefs and behaviors that keep them from the nourishing connections they crave.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
I have experience with the following

  • Buddhism
  • Judaism
