About My Clients
My ideal client is someone who has an interest in increasing their self knowledge within an accepting relationship. Therapy is a joint effort that provides an opportunity for increased satisfaction and success in life. Clients interested in these things whether they are having difficulty, or just want support and more self awareness are in the right place to begin.
My Background and Approach
My background starts with having completed a lot of school. I studied psychology and philosophy in college. I then obtained a Master's degree in education. Then Master's and Doctorate degree in psychology. I was trained for ten years as a bioenergetic analyst, focused on the mind and body interaction. Then years later I returned to school and spent five years training to be a psychoanalyst. Over the past 40 plus years I have treated a wide range of people and difficulties in the hospital, and primarily in my office. I enjoy people and I am honored and motivated to help others. My approach in therapy is focused on building a helping relationship and addressing the structure of the conflicts or obstacles in a person's life.
