About My Clients
I work with adults who are seeking a compassionate, understanding approach to mental health care—especially those who may have been overlooked or misunderstood by traditional mental health systems. Whether you're an adult professional, a college student, or someone navigating the challenges of ADHD, OCD, bipolar disorder, anxiety, depression, or trauma, I am here to support you in healing and developing practical strategies to improve your mental and emotional well-being.
My Background and Approach
I am a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner and trained in CBT, Brainspotting Phase 1, and motivational interviewing. I am committed to providing care that is affirming, anti-oppressive, and trauma-informed. I recognize that everyone’s journey toward healing is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. I am passionate about offering a safe space where you can show up fully as yourself—whether you’re struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, or navigating the complexities of your identity. My goal is to empower you, not just by treating mental health symptoms, but by validating your lived experiences and helping you reclaim your agency. I provide evaluation, assessment, medication management, psychotherapy, and offer various holistic, evidence-based alternatives to aid in your mental health.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Black, queer, neurodivergent psychiatric nurse practitioner, I hold deeply to the belief that mental health care is not just about treating symptoms—it's about healing holistically, addressing the root causes of distress, and centering the experiences of those who have been marginalized. My approach to mental health care is grounded in healing justice, a framework that recognizes the interconnectedness of identity, culture, and personal well-being.
