About My Clients
Are you, or is your child struggling to be successful or independent with daily activities in the areas of play, self care (dressing, grooming, showering/bathing, toileting) eating, home care, education, emotional regulation, sensory processing, or social participation? Does this impact you or your child's ability to fulfill roles as an independent person, as a student, worker, or in your relationships? I want to help children, adolescents, and adults participate in meaningful activities.
My Background and Approach
Pediatric Occupational Therapist with experience in schools, clinics, and home-based therapy. In schools, I have helped children access their education, and I collaborated with teachers and parents to help children be successful in the school environment. In the clinic, the focus was on play and sensory motor activities to improve functioning and performance through play. In the home, I take a family centered approach and start with the caregiver's concerns to help the child increase independence and participation in daily activities.
