About My Clients
I am well versed in individual, couples and group counseling with adults. My experience ranges from pre- marital, marital, divorce and mental health. I have always had a passion for counseling.
My Background and Approach
My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Social Work for the University of Texas at Arlington and a Master’s degree in Social work from Case Western Reserve in Cleveland, Ohio. During sessions, I strive to provide a safe and neutral environment that will allow both parties to be heard. Marriage is more than the change of your living situation and last name, for you are two separate individuals who are coming together. During pre-martial counseling, the goal is to identify areas that may cause conflict in your union, such as; beliefs, communication, and many other differences. Counseling is a tool to help address differences and provide a foundation for the years to come.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I hold a strong belief that everyone has the ability to change their undesired habits and/or behaviors and grow at anytime in their lives. Even the best relationships can be tested, which can cause undue stress. I’m looking forward to fostering our therapeutic relationship.
