About My Clients
I work with teens and adults experiencing loss and/or struggles with their relationships. I work with clients who are constantly being told they are “too hard on themselves'“; people that are struggling with worrying about what others may think of them, and are finding it difficult to place boundaries in relationships.
My Background and Approach
I work with those struggling with grief; both death and non-death loses as well as parents of children with big emotions and/or behaviors. Throughout my years in working with children and families, I have found the most effective work is often done when working directly with the parents. I utilize internal family system and attachment based therapy approaches in my work with individuals and families. I offer morning, afternoon and evening appointments to accommodate busy work and school schedules. We can meet either in person at the office or online via a HIPAA compliant virtual platform. Call or visit the website today for a free consultation call and to schedule your first appointment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
We all have a family history that shapes our day to day interactions. I believe that it is never too late to examine those experiences, heal from generational trauma, and create new, healthy connections within yourself, with your friends and with your family members. We have all been told, or have told ourselves, we should "fix" or "get rid of" a part of ourselves, even when these parts have worked hard to protect us in the past or get us to where we are today. Through my work, I aim to help my clients change the relationship they have with these parts of themselves in order to live in more harmony.
