About My Clients
I work with adults who are dealing with anxiety, depression, body image issues, and other challenges such as work, relationships, and family. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling very confused but knowing that they are not happy. They are looking for a place of peace where they can start to unpack things. My Background and Approach
I am a therapist who will do more than “just listen.” As I am getting to know you, I will also be thinking about ways to help you get unstuck. You will start having wins for a change! I use evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, mindfulness practices, and body-based interventions. What are evidence-based treatments? They are strategies that science has shown to ACTUALLY WORK for treating depression and anxiety. We will also review our plan to make sure what we are doing is making a difference in your life. We can always adjust the plan if needed.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am open minded and believe that social justice is important. I am supportive of those who are trying to challenge oppressive systems. I believe that quality mental health treatment should be available for everyone.
