About My Clients
I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and those in non-traditional relationships, including polyamory, consensual non-monogamy, kink, and BDSM. My ideal clients are those seeking a safe, affirming space to explore their identities, process trauma, and grow their mental health. I help individuals navigate challenges like anxiety, depression, substance use, and trauma, empowering them to align their lives with their values and build resilience.
My Background and Approach
I hold a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from the University of Oklahoma and have experience in diverse settings, including educational institutions, non-profits, substance use treatment programs, and private practice. I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ individuals and those in non-traditional relationships, including polyamory, consensual non-monogamy, kink, and BDSM. My therapeutic approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) for trauma. I also incorporate somatic techniques to help clients regulate their nervous systems. With a warm, non-judgmental approach, I empower clients to process trauma, align their lives with core values, and navigate personal growth, fostering healing and self-discovery.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am deeply committed to creating a safe, affirming space for marginalized communities, particularly LGBTQIA+ individuals and those in non-traditional relationships. I believe in the importance of addressing societal biases, oppression, and stereotypes, which is why my approach is grounded in feminist theory. I support inclusivity and empowerment, working to help clients process trauma, align their lives with their values, and build resilience. I also advocate for mental health accessibility, offering online therapy to clients in Colorado and Oklahoma, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to heal and grow in a compassionate, non-judgmental environment.
