About My Clients
My clients struggle like you do. Despite being smart, successful, and mostly having their stuff together, life is hard. When they first come in, they feel grieved and overwhelmed. They are in excruciating emotional pain, and the experience is like they are drowning and having a limb cut off all at the same time. Yet, you don't have to go through all this alone. I understand what you are going through and would be honored to walk with you.
My Background and Approach
I work from a client-centered perspective which basically means that I will base all my treatment on what I am hearing and what we decide upon together. I work as a gentle guide with a calm, centered presence. Over the years, my clients have told me that I have consistently asked clarifying questions that really helped them move towards a deeper understanding of what was going on for them and how to move forward.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am in awe of the strength and resilience of the human spirit. I believe that all humans have inherent goodness and dignity and there is healing and wisdom present to all of us. My work is to partner with you in cultivating awareness and finding your own right path towards vitality and fullness. I am a progressive Christian with a background in Evangelical Christianity. I say "progressive" because I believe in a non-literal interpretation of the Bible, I believe in science and that climate change is real, black lives matter, and that women should receive support, healthcare, and options. Yet, despite all these beliefs, I am accepting of all lifestyles and just want to see you become your best version of yourself.
