I love working with all relationships and families -- regardless of how they identify. Whether that includes polyamory, non-monogamy, LGBTQ+ members, kinky humans, or another identity that makes your relationship 'unique'. I don't see individuals as 'problems', I see bigger systems that are complicated, usually socially constructed, and primed for re-examination as we discuss how old stories might not be serving your current relationship(s) or family.
My clients are motivated for positive change and put the work in to reap the fruits of their labor. My clients want to change their lives for the better - I am here to help guide them along their path. Reaching out to a therapist can be daunting, my hope is to ease that process through a non-judgmental free 20-minute consultation over the phone or zoom. These are free and are in no way binding! I love meeting new people and being invited into their journeys. I look forward to hearing from you
I suffered from severe social anxiety, chronic blushing, depression, and C-PTSD for many years. I now specialize in helping my clients resolve these issues. I know how hopeless it can feel. I understand the horrible feeling of being overwhelmed, avoiding people, hating the attention, fearing social situations, and the feeling and frustration of failure. Though I promise you these issues are resolvable. Have a complimentary session with me and find out how I can help you.
I work with insightful and motivated clients who are facing challenges and yearning for change. My goal is to provide a warm and accepting space to recognize my client’s unique strengths and to help them take steps towards greater joy, connection and fulfillment. Common areas of focus include clarifying values, developing tools to cope with stress and anxiety, reframing challenges as opportunities for growth, deepening relationships, and fostering self-acceptance and compassion.

I love working with clients of all ages! The children I work with tend to struggle with emotion regulation. This can present as tantrums, aggression, depression, anxiety, and negative self-talk. The teenage clients I work with often present with low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, and self-harm. Adult clients in my practice have experienced childhood trauma. They are aware of the impact this has on their current life and are willing to connect with their wounded child parts.
You feel worn down by shame, self-criticism, and anxiety. There's a tendency to doubt yourself, to overanalyze situations or things you've said until you feel embarrassed and exhausted. You've always felt different from others—you wish you didn't have to feel everything so deeply, that you weren't as easily overwhelmed by the "small" things in everyday life. More than anything, you want to trust yourself, feel more confident, and be better able to manage painful and overwhelming feelings.
I accompany you on your journey to harness your creativity, power, and motivation. I will be with you in your pain and your joy. I prefer swimming in the deep waters: exploring the bigger questions around the meaning of life and death, how to find and maintain fulfilling relationships, how to thrive in our precious, finite time here.
I want to connect with you & welcome you entirely as you are. I offer my genuine and non-judgmental presence, with the intent to cultivate a safe space where you can show up authentically, clarify your own goals, develop new skills, make necessary changes, & take initiative in healing your pain. I thrive in collaborating with clients who are self-reflective, eager to resolve issues, and are motivated and receptive to personal growth and transformation.

You want people to think you have it all together, but deep down you’re struggling with anxiety that holds you back from living the way you want to. You may be fed up with overthinking and people-pleasing, feeling overwhelmed by making decisions or setting boundaries, or feeling out of control of your life. You might not even remember a time things didn’t feel this way. But one thing is for sure: you’re ready to take control of your anxiety.
As a therapist, I've discovered many of us share that same story of having few places to turn where we can truly be ourselves and accepted just as we are. Whether it's because of bullying, religion, or body image pressures, we learn to conform and perform in response to the pressure of our world telling us who to be, and we are left ashamed, and exhausted when it becomes too much to maintain. My clients seek therapy to find a life that authentically aligns with their identity and values.
I am passionate about supporting individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, low self-worth/self-esteem, interpersonal conflict, relationship issues, and life transitions as well as working with adolescents with eating disorders and empowering their parents in supporting them through their recovery. I have experience in working with adolescents and adults.
Many clients who work with me are ready for their relationships to heal and their sexual lives to improve. They notice that they are stuck in the same unhealthy and unproductive patterns in their relationships or dating experiences. They feel motivated to improve their confidence and pleasure with intimacy, but they feel stuck in how to reach these goals on their own. I can help to identify the patterns, beliefs, and emotions that are standing in the way of your relationship and sexual health.
Are you struggling with frequent anxiety, panic attacks, or social anxiety? My name is Lauren Timkovich, I'm a therapist who helps people struggling with all types of anxiety. Anxiety can be (at best) constant and consuming, or (at worst) absolutely debilitating. Very few people talk openly about how their thoughts may be constantly running through the same negative ideas, or scanning for something that could go wrong, or how painful, scary, and exhausting this can all be!
