The more I am in this field the more I realize that I am very passionate about working with the LGBTQ+ community, which I also belong to. I particularly enjoy working with trans folx and helping them navigate the process of coming out or just the day to day stress of the society we currently live in. I love working with people who are new to therapy just as much as working with those who are familiar with it.

I love supporting clients in developing self-compassion, identifying and building on strengths, and learning new approaches to achieve a sense of well-being and peace. I have experience working with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, life transitions, social and communication challenges, gender and sexual identity, polyamory, and neurodivergence.
I work with people from various communities, identities, and relational styles. My clients enter therapy with a desire to address individual, relational, or sexual concerns, and find the courage to create new lives and ways of being in the world. As there no 'one size fits all' in therapy, I work to create a therapeutic experience tailored to the specific needs, aspirations, and goals of the people I work with.
“I’m normally pretty happy, but every day lately has started feeling like a struggle. Part of me wants to keep pretending I've got it together. But I don’t, and I know I need to find the courage to reach out. I need to find someone who gets what I'm going through and can help me figure it out without all the judgment. It's just taking that first leap that feels really scary right now.”
Have you recently said to yourself "I don't want to do this anymore or feel this way anymore?" Whether it's having the same argument with your child or partner or struggling with the feelings of anxiety and depression that make daily life difficult, we will work together to get you to a life of greater confidence, balance, and satisfaction. I hope to support you in getting to a place where you aren't just surviving throughout the day but thriving throughout the day.
Each relationship shared with a client brings a sense of investment and an opportunity of reward for diligence. We will aspire to goal achievement, conflict resolution and development of crucial life skills from a place of effective self-assessment, critical thinking and incorporation of tools that work for you.

Life can feel confusing and overwhelming. Do you respond by trying to be "perfect," by imagining every possible disaster and planning an escape for each? Or perhaps you get paralyzed with anxiety, unable to take any action, mind racing? That persistent feeling of "not good enough" can lead to depression, anxiety, or generally feeling like the life has been sucked out of you. Reaching out for help is hard -- I'm glad you're here and thinking about it.
My clients are motivated to learn about themselves and discover the things that interfere with their living their best life possible. Clients come to me with addiction issues and may be struggling with ambivalence towards changing, or are motivated to give up self-destructive patterns of behavior. Clients might be anywhere along the path towards coming out and stepping fully into their sexual identity.
At times, emotions can feel all-consuming and get in the way of what we want or care about most in our lives. I use evidence-based practices to support children, teens, and young adults in coping with difficult experiences—such as anxiety, OCD, depression and behavioral challenges. I also provide parents with strategies to help their children experiencing challenges. My goal is to work with clients on building their strengths in facing difficult emotions and living a rich and meaningful life.
You're smart and analytical but you can't seem to analyze your way around your painful feelings. So you end up feeling disconnected from others in your life, unsure about how to communicate and assert yourself, and frustrated that you can't think your way out of your problems. In therapy with me, we will tackle your challenges in new ways, with creativity and humor and emotion. We'll recognize your strengths and appreciate how you have learned to take care of yourself.

Currently offering in-person appointments on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, and teletherapy appointments on Thursdays. If you feel out of touch with your own life, if people say that you worry “too much,” if a particular event has taken away your sense of well-being, psychotherapy can be an excellent resource and activator for change. But it takes courage to recognize when your coping strategies are no longer working and to reach out for support.
Our clients come from diverse background with a wide range of concerns such as depression, anxiety, anger management, parenting problems, career challenges, self-esteem/confidence issues, intellectual/developmental disabilities, Asperger/autism spectrum disorder, attention deficient, trauma/PTSD, oppositional behaviors, and immigration/acculturation/adjustment issues. Our Goal is to create a safe, open, and non-judgmental environmental for our clients to be heard, supported, and motivated.
You've experienced sexual assault (and you might find it hard to label it that way). You struggle with intimacy and are worried there is something wrong with you. You often feel anxious and even when things are going well in relationships it feels like you are waiting for something to go wrong. Sometimes during sex you cry, dissociate, or try to just "get through it". You're worried you might never get over the bad things that have happened to you and that on some level you're broken.
At Resilience Lab my clients are people navigating life transitions, learning to love their bodies, or questioning their gender identity and/or sexual orientation. Our time together might look like healing trauma, reconnecting with family, or using mindfulness exercises to create more bodily awareness. Through this process, I spend time with clients to discover the values and pieces of their identity making them who they are.
Therapy for teens and adults: -- Emotional Health (Anxiety, Depression, Trauma/PTSD); -- Life Transitions (Stress, Adjustment, Grief/Loss); -- Relationships (Communication, Spirituality, Self-Esteem/Body Image); -- Women in Business (Stress/Overwhelm, Empowerment, Work/Life Balance).

I provide individual therapy to adults. I employ next layer healing with many of my clients, who have already had success utilizing therapeutic techniques to target specific symptoms. Despite this success and progress, they often still feel that something is out of alignment. Using an integrative and holistic approach, I help clients work towards a deeper layer of healing that gets to the root of judgments and negative messages they have received through the human experience.
Clients in my practice have a history of developmental trauma. I utilize DBT to help clients gain skills to build a life worth living. Once they have skills, clients move on to process trauma through psychotherapy. I tailor my practice to meet the specific needs of clients and teach strategies to meet goals. I enjoy supporting clients in pinpointing the causes of issues and work together to remove negative behaviors and thought patterns.
