I believe you don’t have an alcohol or drug problem; you have a current solution to your problems. I can help you because I’ve been there. I’m in long-term recovery from addiction, and I know asking for help is one of the strongest things you could ever do. I know what it means to manage the struggles that come with addiction, such as cravings and triggers.
Dealing with addiction, depression, or anxiety is not about “what’s wrong with you?” but “what happened to you?” Alcohol abuse, drug addiction, and mental health issues are the outward projection of extensive emotional obstacles. These behaviors are ineffective solutions and adaptations to help manage what has happened in your life. They are merely symptoms of a more profound internal struggle, and you have the power to make the change.
Your past doesn’t have to define your future, and your struggles don’t have to be your identity. You have the power to make the change and live a rewarding life. No one can do the inner work for you, but you also don’t have to do it alone. I take an empathic and action-based approach to do the deep self-work necessary to heal those deep emotional wounds.
