Serving ages 6 and up in the states of Alaska, Arizona, Florida, Idaho, Iowa, Maine, Massachusetts, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Hampshire, New Mexico, New Jersey, New York, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Washington DC, Washington, Wyoming, Utah and Vermont. We are accepting new patients in Minnesota on a waitlist.
My Background and Approach
Dr. Alicia Berger is a board certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of South Alabama with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice. She has been practicing in the psychiatric field since 2010. She has worked in many settings including outpatient, inpatient, consultation, and forensic as a nurse, manager, and nurse practitioner.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Balance Psychiatric Services enjoys helping those of diverse backgrounds and identities. Our providers are involved with mental health services for the LGBTQ+ community. Some of our staff are bilingual in Spanish and English. We believe strongly in the importance of paying attention to cultural competency so that we can offer the right support for those of different nationalities, ages, and families.
