Specifically, I have extensive training in Cognitive-Behavioral therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment therapy (ACT), and Exposure and Response Prevention Therapy (ERP). I received my BA in Psychology and Spanish from Trinity University in San Antonio and my MA in Clinical Psychology from the University of Houston – Clear Lake. Before transitioning into private practice, I worked as the residential manager/outpatient therapist at the McLean OCD Institute//Houston where I oversaw the provision of care to clients in both the Intensive Outpatient Program and the Residential Support Program.
Despite my training, YOU are the boss of your treatment. I am here to help you get to where you want to be. Of course, I will make my professional recommendations and you will make the final decision as to how you want to move forward. You will learn how to identify your values in life and live according to them instead of your anxiety so when you look back you will have no regrets.
