About My Clients

Many of the people I work with are navigating faith transitions, deconstructing long-held beliefs, or healing from the impact of high-control or authoritarian religion. Some come from Mormon or fundamentalist Christian backgrounds and are looking for a safe, supportive space to explore who they are outside of those systems. They’re often seeking clarity, connection, and a more authentic sense of self—even if they’re not sure where to begin.

My Background and Approach

I’m a licensed therapist in both California and Utah, which allows me to work with clients located in either state. I graduated from Johns Hopkins University where I got my Masters degree in Counseling, emphasis in Clinical Mental Health. I’m trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in my work. My approach is trauma-informed, collaborative, and centered on creating a safe, supportive space for healing. I have experience working with a wide range of client backgrounds and identities, and I’m committed to honoring each person’s unique story and lived experience.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

My core values as a person and a therapist are creativity, authenticity, empowerment, curiosity, and growth. These guide the way I show up in the therapy room and how I support clients in reconnecting with their own inner wisdom. I also know what it’s like to wrestle with big questions about identity, belief, and belonging. As a biracial individual, I understand the complexity of holding multiple cultural identities and navigating spaces where you may not always feel fully seen. I bring this lens into my work and hold space for people of all backgrounds, with deep respect for how culture, gender, faith, and lived experience shape our inner worlds.
