My Background and Approach
I have been in the social work field for 10 years and have experience working in areas of foster care, domestic violence, and other local non-profit settings. Prior to starting in private practice, I worked for 5 years with adjudication youth in probation system and their families. During that time, I saw many families looking for a way out of being stuck. Due to wanting a more casual than business atmosphere, I opened my own practice to better serve individuals and their families within my community. I have specialties working with youth and young adults struggling with self-exploration, anxiety, self-esteem and stress management. My belief is that every individuals knows themselves better than I know them my goals is to give you the tools and the resources to walk alongside you during this journey of a better you or your child to have the tools they need for success.
