There is a disconnect that you can’t describe as if your brain and body are moving in two different directions. You have a choice to change your crippling anxiety, negative self-talk, and racing thoughts. Lets work together to do therapy differently this time.
My Background and Approach
I am a nerd for trauma therapy. The skills and trainings I complete are specifically aimed at working with individuals with trauma. I believe deeply in the use of the somatic therapy approach to help individuals like yourself release the impact of trauma that is held in the body. We will collaborate together to find the best approach for you, as I am trained in several modalities and have several different skills for you to try, as not every skill or modality is one-size-fits-all. I hope to help you understand how to connect with your body slowly to help you address your trauma to increase your ability to regulate and manage your emotions when triggered, along with improving your relationships with others.
