Welcome! If you're here, you are probably struggling with the impact of trauma. Left untreated, trauma remains in your body and can lead to chronic pain, depression, anxiety, and feelings of shame and worthlessness. I use EMDR and other approaches to help you leave trauma in the past. I am especially passionate about working with PTSD and complex PTSD, neurodivergent teens and adults, first responders, sexual trauma survivors, Single Mothers By Choice (SMBC) , and infertility-related stress.
I help creative adults and teens who are struggling with self-esteem, religious beliefs/trauma, and relationships. Guided by principles of mindfulness, acceptance, and empowerment, my work focusses on your healing from experiences of bullying, abusive relationships, and difficult life events such as divorce. Together, let’s discover new paths and ways of being that will lead you to healing, growth, and meaningful change.
I consider it an honor to work alongside clients as they heal from the effects of ongoing trauma. You may not have considered what you have experienced as "trauma", you may even minimize what you've been through, and yet still find yourself stuck in distressing patterns that are affecting your relationships, self-worth, emotions and health. You and your story deserve compassion and understanding, as you re-connect with your own authenticity and re-claim your agency in life.
I work with people looking for deeper connections and intimacy with themselves and those around them. Whether you're navigating sexual issues, anxiety, religious trauma or LGBT+ issues, I'm here for it. And more importantly, I'm here for you. Together we can create a therapeutic relationship to help you grow into a more authentic version of you.

Are you tired of anxiety and worry running your life? Is your to do list piling up and you just can't find the energy to get things done? Have you become your own biggest critic? I want to work with you to take back your life and become your most authentic self. I work with a full range of clients (children, adults, couples, families) and specialize in depression, anxiety, and trauma.
The alarm goes off Another day… All you want to do is stay in bed and not face another day of being the responsible, high-performing one, while feeling like you are coming apart inside. You get up, suck down coffee, and look at your to-do list. Your heart starts pounding, your palms are clammy, you struggle to catch a breath. There is a reality in which you are at peace. You feel valued and loved, are doing things you used to love, and can care for yourself first. It's a surreal feeling.
I tend to work with folks who are curious about themselves, others, and the human condition in general. My clients often come to therapy recognizing that they have endured relational and/or societal trauma and knowing how it impacts them. However, they feel unsure of how to reckon with, heal, and integrate their traumatic experiences. My clients are ready to live more expansively, have more balanced relationships, and feel more grounded in their daily life but need support to get there.
You're a people-pleaser, late-bloomer, self-explorer, or someone who values your inner life and wants to dive deeper. Adults who are creative, curious, and compassionate but struggle to apply those strengths to themselves consider me a good fit, as do those who crave relationships but find them to be more trouble than they're worth.
Sometimes life can feel overwhelming, hopeless or out of control. It's not uncommon to feel empty, lost in an emotional place that seems endless and dark with no escape. Addressing difficulties in relationships, life transitions, and depression are my areas of expertise. Life should not be such a constant struggle. I am here to provide a safe space where we can work together to help you find a way out of the dark and build a path forward toward healing, balance, happiness and meaning.

I have experience working with individuals 18 and older struggling with difficult thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Past traumas or current stressors can leave us feeling anxious, depressed, or disconnected from ourselves and others. As a trauma informed psychotherapist, I provide a compassionate, safe, and non-judgmental space for clients to explore with curiosity their feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and how they serve them and where they would like to bring in change.
I have the pleasure of seeing all kinds of people in my practice. I see men, women, adolescents and couples. People who are seeking change or who are experiencing transition often come to me to process these unique circumstances. I see folks who have experienced racialized trauma, microaggressions, bias, and racism. I see professionals who need support in supporting others in their high profile positions. I see parents and those who are on a fertility journey. I also support those in recovery.
I work collaboratively with my clients to find out what works for them and their situation. I am an integrative therapist, tailoring approaches to fit each client’s needs. Although asking for help can be difficult, know that I will be there to support your journey from the very first phone call all the way through to your discharge session. Together we can uncover underlying reasons for behaviors and emotions and address those to learn healthier, more productive, and beneficial ways.
Feeling stuck and struggling to move forward from a relationship, job, or the death of a loved one?
