About My Clients
I help individuals navigate life transitions and challenges related to LGBTQIA+ issues, relationships, and ethical non-monogamy. Using relational support and a focus on the present, we’ll explore new perspectives, uncover patterns, and address habits that may be holding you back. My goal is to support you on your journey of self-discovery and expression, equipping you with the confidence to embrace change and move forward in a way that fosters growth with compassion.
My Background and Approach
My holistic approach supports you toward awareness and acceptance with the aid of an inclusive, safe, and curious space. My goal is to meet you where you are to help enliven your perceptions of self and the needs you have come to therapy to explore. Our work may include reducing self-shame, building hope and connection, and finding tools to help you navigate the anxieties that come with change and being human in today’s world. Ultimately, we will work collaboratively to address and support those concerns that are important to you and improve those identified areas of your life. I work from a relational gestalt, Internal Family Systems, and attachment-informed therapeutic lens. I have trained at The Ness Counseling Center, a non-profit working with individuals, couples, and families and I also serve as a volunteer group counselor at Our House, a grief support center serving the LA community through grief support groups.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As an eternal student, I believe personal work is always evolving and never complete. I also believe therapy can be a place to explore worries, hopes, and dreams while building a healthy and collaborative support system between the therapist and the client that transcends beyond the therapy frame. As an active therapy consumer and member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I have found that therapy and my interest in grief and identity work give me the tools and freedom to continue my self-exploration and believe everyone should have a similar space to explore.
