About My Clients
We typically find ourselves considering therapy when things don’t seem to be working. The good news is, you don't have to figure it all out alone. Whether you are grappling with anxiety, depression, developmental trauma, identity struggles, relational issues and/or simply with what it means to be human during these trying times, I am here to help. I currently have availability both virtually and in-person.
My Background and Approach
I bring an eclectic body of knowledge to support you in your healing. I use a contemporary relational psychoanalytic lens for how I understand lasting change. I am also skilled at using somatic, CBT, and family systems modalities. Having said that, I deeply believe that psychotherapy is about building a therapeutic relationship that fosters an environment of reflection and change. Every person is unique and therefore every therapy is unique. My orientation is you and what will be most supportive for the change you seek.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Research and experience have taught me that unless we make sense of what is going on both consciously and unconsciously, our pain will continue to alchemize into deeply entrenched patterns and challenging symptoms. As such, I stay away from promoting quick fixes, “short cuts,” and short lived results. Instead, we will work together to get to the heart of the matter so you can find permanent, sustainable changes in your life and relationships. Struggling is a part of life. Healing is when those struggles no longer control you.
