About My Clients
I work with people looking for deeper connections and intimacy with themselves and those around them. Whether you're navigating sexual issues, anxiety, religious trauma or LGBT+ issues, I'm here for it. And more importantly, I'm here for you. Together we can create a therapeutic relationship to help you grow into a more authentic version of you.
How I Can Help You
Do you ever imagine a world where you feel closely and intimately connected with yourself and with those around you? We live in a culture of cut-off. We are simultaneously told to be ruggedly independent free spirits, yet we are also supposed to have robust and meaningful relationships. Confusing. Right? Here’s the deal, there’s no ‘right’ way to live life or to do relationships. Working together, it’s our job to find a tailor-made path for you. No rigid rules. No meaningless scripts. Let’s actually talk about it. I want to know your values. I want to help you celebrate those values and then put them into action. Let’s focus on pleasure and play. Sure, therapy is serious work. But connection thrives in the world of playfulness and joy. Let's find healing by engaging both the serious and the joyful. Working with me, you will have a therapist who doesn’t hide from you. You get Greg the Therapist as well as Greg the Human. I believe in real connection in the therapy room.
Why I Became a Therapist
I love helping people find liberation and freedom! As a gay man who spent much of his 20s in conservative religious communities, I have first-hand experience of being trapped and unable to live into one's full self. Through my journey of learning to love myself, I first began learning more about my sexuality, gender, spirituality and relationships. This curiosity led me to study clinical sexology to understand myself better, but this quickly spilled over into a yearning to help others learn how to love themselves. I am for true collaboration in the work that my clients and I do together. I live for the areas where my story intersects with those of my clients, but I also love the richness of working with folks who have lived very different stories than my own. As a fellow human, I love being a co-journeyer on your path toward greater connection and intimacy.
