Sometimes our relationships with others, or ourselves, get stuck. We may have lost direction, purpose, or meaning, and we become unsure of who we are or who we are in relationship with other people in our lives. We feel alone, sad, or scared. Some of us become overwhelmed by naming these emotions. Some may choose to isolate ourselves and think we must navigate this life alone. In these moments, I believe we are invited to pay attention; when we do, we begin the journey toward growth and healing.

I work primarily with folks who are: neurodivergent (e.g. autistic, ADHD, or other), chronically ill/disabled (particularly with autoimmune illnesses), queer/LGBTQIAA2S, sexual/gender outsiders, fat-identified and/or hoping to develop a more loving relationship with their body, sex workers, poly folks, and those in non-traditional relationship and family structures. If you've ever been told that you're too much, too negative, or too "in your head," let's talk. I welcome you exactly as you are.
You’ve excelled in so many ways, but you're exhausted. The perfectionist in you never lets you forget when you’ve seemingly missed the mark. In friendships and romantic relationships, you wish there was a guide on how to finally get things “right”. The fear of not being “good enough", causes you to overanalyze EVERYTHING. You become stuck in your head and withdrawn from the life and relationships that you actually want. Life can get better and I know how to help.
Do you feel overwhelmed by uncertainty or worry about the future? Are you concerned about your relationships? Are you feeling stuck, even though you’re trying so hard to move forward? Although these struggles can feel challenging, they can also be the spark to ignite positive change in your life. In these uncertain times, I provide calm, nourishing help. Change can be rewarding, even exciting, with the right support.
If you are an Autistic adult seeking autism-focused and neurodivergent affirming therapy, I will help you feel safe, supported, and heard with compassion. I'm also Autistic myself! I use the autism and neurodiversity affirming model to address your unique concerns by reducing autistic burnout, anxiety, depression, masking, the distress of meltdowns and shutdowns, low self-esteem, and difficulties with work and school. I welcome and support my LGBTQIA+, transgender, non-binary, and BIPOC clients.

Have you previously undergone therapy, but didn’t get the results you wanted? Are you a pragmatic person who values an approach that establishes well-defined objectives and delivers tangible outcomes? Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy is a potent form of therapy that empowers you the client to directly transform emotions and behaviors. The greatest advantage of IFS therapy is its establishment of clear, measurable goals right from the start. Which allows you to observe the progress you make.
Holding it together on the outside but feel VERY different inside? Do you feel gripped by anxiety, self-doubt, anger, dread, fear, or numbness? Having thoughts that you are not enough, or too much, or that you have to be perfect? There is a reason this is happening. Getting to know yourself takes time and intention - and often the support of a confident guide. You can love what it feels like to come home to your life.
You've been thinking about making a change for a while, but you haven't actually been doing anything about it. It's hard for you to put yourself first or even ask for help. You're usually the the go-to person for your family, friends, or coworkers so prioritizing your own mental health almost feels selfish. Your inner critic's voice is so loud that you know something needs to change. You usually feel like you're never doing enough, but you're feeling stressed and overwhelmed.
I work with youth, individuals and couples from diverse background. I am LGTBQIA+ affirming and welcome all races/ethnicity, gender and sexual orientation in my practice. I work with individuals around trauma, relationships, stress burnout, identity, anxiety, depression, self-esteem, self-confidence, adoption and issues around immigration, race and culture.
Life in the Bay Area is challenging and the additional stress associated with being LGBTQ+, a woman, pregnancy, parenting or all of the above can push it over the edge. High levels of stress can interfere with relationships, parenting, work, self-care and health. Therapy can support you in cultivating a sense of well-being and balance in your life as well as help you overcome specific mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, trauma and addictive behaviors.

Have you been thinking "I should really do something about my current life?" If yes, then let's work together to help you break unhelpful patterns that involve anxiety, depression, eating disorders, addictions/substance abuse or marriage/relationship problems. If you're looking to transform your life, that is, accept yourself, achieve those dreams that you've put off, and create an amazing fulfilling life then you've got the right profile. It's never too late to start or start over.
Restarting your life? Are you feeling lost, overwhelmed, isolated? Do you feel stuck in the past ? Or maybe you think you are powerless, too old, too young, too different, or low energy? Some of the folks I enjoy working with are members of my queer community, older adults, creative types and people connected to the earth who care about our planet and may be experiencing climate grief. I appreciate transitioners of all types and lovers of learning.
You are feeling overwhelmed, stressed, unfulfilled. Maybe your relationship feels like it is crashing and burning. Or maybe you feel like you friend circle has shrunk or that you are the last person standing with no romantic prospects. Maybe you are a parent just trying to get through the day. You have lost motivation, direction, and a sense of purpose. You are not sure when it started but you do not feel the same. Maybe you just feel alone and the voice in your head is saying “what is wrong?”
Are stress and anxiety affecting your life and relationships? Do you feel overwhelmed, tense, with a sense of urgency about expectations put on to you as BIPOC? Do you have a strong inner critic voice that causes shame saying you are not doing enough? Do you find yourself vacillating between high stress and burnout? Do you want to feel grounded with more capacity to feel without getting overwhelmed? Do you want to slow down and nourish self compassion so that you move towards what matters most?

I am available to provide a safe, open space in which we can work collaboratively to support you in your journey of healing. I have a background of working with youth and children dealing with depression, anxiety and the throws of life.
In addition to the many problems that complicate our daily lives such as anxiety, panic attacks, depression, patients come to me with complex relationship issues including marital distress, divorce recovery, verbal & emotional abuse, loss of child, parent, or spouse. The holistic approach that I use will address the root problem, not just the symptoms. I offer perspective on your experience, and provide clear, concise directions on meeting your treatment goals.
