About My Clients
Sometimes our relationships with others, or ourselves, get stuck. We may have lost direction, purpose, or meaning, and we become unsure of who we are or who we are in relationship with other people in our lives. We feel alone, sad, or scared. Some of us become overwhelmed by naming these emotions. Some may choose to isolate ourselves and think we must navigate this life alone. In these moments, I believe we are invited to pay attention; when we do, we begin the journey toward growth and healing.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is client-centered, collaborative, and relational. I bring an eclectic approach to therapy, prioritizing the relationship we develop as therapist and client. You need a warm, approachable, and trusting environment to begin making changes and progress toward growth and healing. I will hold that space for you and meet you where you are in your journey, providing compassion and understanding.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My background is unique and has prepared me to walk alongside you. I am a member of the LGBTQ+ community, and I enjoy working with other LGBTQ+ folx in helping my clients achieve healing and wellness. The connection between you and your therapist is central to your success, so I place a considerable amount of emphasis on developing a therapeutic relationship between us.
