I provide individual therapy to adults. I employ next layer healing with many of my clients, who have already had success utilizing therapeutic techniques to target specific symptoms. Despite this success and progress, they often still feel that something is out of alignment. Using an integrative and holistic approach, I help clients work towards a deeper layer of healing that gets to the root of judgments and negative messages they have received through the human experience.

You need therapy that will teach you concrete skills to help improve your life right now, not aimless therapy that only makes you feel better for the day. My typical clients are professionals who have come to realize that negative thoughts are keeping them from achieving their full potential at work and/or in their personal lives. Many of my current clients had tried therapy prior to seeing me and did not find it helpful as they did not get concrete skills to deal with distress.
I work with clients ages 16 and up. I specialize in working with clients managing anxiety, depression, disordered eating, and life stressors/changes. I have experience and really enjoy working with LGBTQ+ clients. Additionally, I am trauma- and neurodiverse-informed.
Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, or other mental health concerns, I am here to support you with compassion, honesty and an open mind. I work primarily with young adults and adults from a wide range of backgrounds and life experiences. Most often, the folx I partner with are seeking an opportunity for growth and healing as well as an opportunity to further enhance coping skills and self-understanding.
Most folks begin therapy with me because they feel stuck in unhelpful patterns of communicating, they struggle to feel understood or supported in their relationship, and they want to navigate conflict and challenging emotions with greater ease. I support queer, gender expansive, kinky, and polyamorous and non-monogamous couples, polycules and other relationship structures. I also specialize in working with stepparents and parents who are navigating a non-traditional family structure.

Many people come to a therapist when exploring their life path. Finding an affirming provider who can support you in your exploration is key to living your fullest life. I work with many clients exploring identity, life changes, health concerns, and complicated family dynamics. If you want a therapist who is affirming and knowledgeable about LGBTQIA+ issues, poly and kink relationships, health at every size, social justice and self-compassion you have come to the right place.
My ideal clients are those with issues of anxiety, depression, cultural adjustment, adjusting to college, strained family relationships (especially second-generation immigrants), health-related concerns or chronic illness, and those seeking a Mandarin-speaking counselor. I have worked with a wide variety of patients from different cultures and backgrounds, and I aim to empower my clients and work together through their challenges effectively.

My passion is helping the LGBTQIA+ community to find satisfaction in their life. Including setting boundaries, exploring traumas and life stressors, as well as understand our behavioral and communication patterns that might be hindering our other relationships. I enjoy working with young adults to address anxiety, depression, past and current traumas/stressors and relationship difficulties.
I help adults who are overwhelmed, frustrated, or confused by panic, anxiety, stress, burnout, physical symptoms, and/or dissociation. Let's work on reconnecting with a deep sense of safety, well-being, and joy. I focus primarily on the LGBTQIA+ community and people that are healing from abuse, including those exploring gender, a/sexuality, relationship structures, disability, spirituality, neurodiversity, and otherwise celebrating our true selves!
I provide psychotherapy to adults with anxiety, interpersonal issues, and stress related to work, academics, and life transitions. I am also a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Specialist and have 20 years of experience working with clients during pregnancy/postpartum and providing therapeutic support around managing parenting-related mental health concerns and stressors from infancy to empty nest.
Some of my clients are working toward feeling more connected in their relationships. Some are working to heal from traumas of the past. Most are looking for an expert therapist, who having tried multiple therapists, need a more comprehensive, philosophically grounded, deeper, and richer experience of self-exploration and healing. My goal is for my clients to experience a connection they may have never felt that helps them build insight, understanding, and the courage and power to heal and grow.
I help anxious and overwhelmed individuals navigate life stress, flourish in life transitions, and heal from painful experiences. You may be a young adult navigating a new life phase, you may be experiencing grief and loss, or you may be working through trauma. You may simply be looking to shift habits that are negatively affecting your life. All of these needs can be challenging to face alone, which is why working together in the context of a therapeutic alliance can be so helpful.

You've experienced sexual assault (and you might find it hard to label it that way). You struggle with intimacy and are worried there is something wrong with you. You often feel anxious and even when things are going well in relationships it feels like you are waiting for something to go wrong. Sometimes during sex you cry, dissociate, or try to just "get through it". You're worried you might never get over the bad things that have happened to you and that on some level you're broken.
We understand the frustration of having to repear your story over and over — nobody has time for that. As experienced clinicians, we seek out the best of the best to personally curate each and every clinician in our nationwide, private network. It’s time to stop sitting on waitlists and settling for less than what you deserve. When you're our client, you're taken care of. Period.
At Resilience Lab my clients are people navigating life transitions, learning to love their bodies, or questioning their gender identity and/or sexual orientation. Our time together might look like healing trauma, reconnecting with family, or using mindfulness exercises to create more bodily awareness. Through this process, I spend time with clients to discover the values and pieces of their identity making them who they are.
