We all have an inner critical voice that can overwhelm our experiences and sabotage our relationship with ourselves and others. My clients learn to identify and relate differently to this inner voice, creating a shift in how they treat themselves. They are then able to engage in a process of investigating different parts of themselves and lead their lives with more inner freedom, self compassion, and open heartedness.

It's hard to get up in the mornings. Life is heavy right now because work is stressful, you're struggling in your relationships, it's hard to get a good night's sleep, and/or you never seem to have time to focus on yourself. You may also be struggling with grief from the loss of a loved one, low self-esteem, or feeling disconnected from the world.
Are you seeking answers to difficult questions? Are you interested in exploring, creating, and living your best life? Are you curious about how the parts of your identity intersect to create your unique experience, challenges, and gifts? My focus is on working with ages 18+, as individuals, couples, and in groups. I also have significant experience working with adolescents - particularly with Gifted and Talented (GT) and Twice Exceptional (2E) folx on academic, social, and career concerns.

I work well with anxious women with big hearts who are drained from the constant people-pleasing and perfectionism. Your big heart leaves you putting everyone first but yourself. The constant overthinking, self-doubt, and not feeling good enough is overwhelming. You are finally ready to put yourself first by learning how to manage your anxiety and start building your self-worth.
I work from a whole-person approach which recognizes that many external and internal factors influence mental health and effective treatment must address the relevant factors in each client’s life. None of us exists in isolation, and when working with clients, I address the many external factors that affect mental health, including professional and academic stress, systemic inequalities, social messages and expectations, and romantic, social, and familial relationships.
Acknowledging that you might be in over your head isn't weak, it's wise. If you’ve tried everything you can think of to feel better, but your mind still attacks you or relationships always seem to go sour or you never quite feel at ease even when everything's OK, maybe it's time to look a little deeper. It's not that cutting off toxic people or upping your cardio won't help, because they probably will! But sometimes the wound goes deeper than that or the situation you're in is just too much.
My clients are those that want to better themselves in some way, but are not quite sure what they want or how to get there. I love working with those that are making major life transitions, such as going to college, getting a new job, moving to a new location, changing a relationship status, etc. Sometimes when we feel stuck in a particular position, our potential gets stuck with us. I love working with eager folks that are ready to start confronting their anxieties in life.
I begin the process with a 30-minute virtual consult to see if I would be a good fit as your counselor. Studies suggest that the biggest indicator of success early in treatment is a great personality match between therapist and client. I will spend time getting details about your case, and you get to decide if I’m the right clinician for you.

I especially love working with other neurodivergent adults (18+), HSPs, spoonies/zebras, gamers, LGBTQIA+ folx, and anyone who doesn’t fit society’s standard mold. I also specialize in helping people who have been harmed or neglected by the medical system, those with invisible illnesses/disabilities, and those who are still searching for a diagnosis.
