About My Clients
I work with adults and couples who are grappling with issues of identity, self-understanding, and relationships. My clients are often at a crossroads, feeling disconnected from themselves or seeking deeper purpose and meaning. They may be immigrants, BIPOC individuals, or students navigating identity issues and self-discovery. I support those establishing their independence and life path, or rebuilding after trauma or loss. I strive for my clients to feel valued, seen, and empowered.
My Background and Approach
I use an integrative, psychodynamic approach to my work. Influenced by relational therapy models, I believes the therapeutic relationship itself can be healing for clients overcoming attachment wounds and working to change ingrained patterns. I utilize Gottman therapy, EMDR, and psychoanalytic techniques to help clients gain self-awareness, integrate disowned parts of themselves, and process difficult experiences through a collaborative therapeutic relationship.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we all have the capacity for growth and change when given the right support. I recognize the innate resiliency within each client, even when they cannot see it themselves. I feelshope and excitement witnessing people step into their power and purpose. My aim is to nurture this transformation through a therapeutic relationship built on trust, vulnerability, and compassion. I feel privileged to sit with those brave enough to wade through murky emotional waters to reach understanding and healing. I'm inspired by the courage and wisdom that emerges through doing this hard work. I believe in each person’s innate worth and follows their lead in discovering what they need most to thrive. My role is to listen deeply, guide gently and empower clients to embark on their journeys of self-actualization.
