Managing personality disorders can be really overwhelming. It is overwhelming for the individual as well as family and loved ones. I assist clients in managing personality disorders, primarily borderline personality disorder (BPD), through an intervention known as DBT, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. We work together and learn skills like mindfulness, emotional regulation, interpersonal effectiveness and distress tolerance.

DBT, or Dialectical Behavior Therapy, is a specialized form of therapy that combines cognitive and behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices. It's designed to help individuals manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and enhance overall emotional well-being.

CBT, or Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, is a goal-oriented therapy that focuses on identifying and reshaping negative thought patterns and behaviors. It helps individuals develop practical skills to manage emotions, alleviate distress, and promote positive change.
