About My Clients
I love working with teens and adults. There are so many life transitions that we were not prepared to manage on our own. I want to help you learn healthy coping skills, effective communication, and learn how to process your emotions and not judge them. If you are looking for a great conversation and interpersonal growth along the way, I am here to help you get where you want to be.
My Background and Approach
My approach is comfortable. I want you to be comfortable as we discuss all the things that make you uncomfortable.. I am direct, easy-going, and love to have a laugh. I am not your typical therapist but a human on this journey with you. I want to embrace your imperfections and grow along the way. I learn from you as much as you will hopefully learn from me. Think of therapy with me as one human helping another human when things get tough.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that you have the power and strength to grow and change from within. I provide a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can explore your fears and worries in order for you to be the best you and live the best life. I trust that our relationship will help you stay accountable to your own goals. I am invested in you and as you commit to your own growth, you will overcome any obstacle. You are not defined by what brings you into counseling and together we can turn you into your own warrior. I believe in the golden rule: treat others the way you want to be treated. I am involved in the BLM movement and support the LGBTQ community. I am a huge Harry Potter fan, love to travel and experience the world. If you feel like we would be a good match, please reach out!
