About My Clients
I work with BIPOC, queer/queer adjacent, allied young to middle aged adults from diverse backgrounds and lived experiences, who are examining various areas of their lives (work, school, relationships, community, identity) and want a space to increase awareness, challenge unhelpful patterns and create change that aligns with their values.
How I Can Help You
We'll work collaboratively to evaluate in the moment situations, make problems more manageable, shift unhelpful thinking and improve the way you feel. I'll provide tailored skills that you can practice, integrate and apply to manage worry, nervousness, body tension, low mood & motivation, negative self-talk, stress and distress. My style is personable, collaborative, flexible, engaging and warm.
My Values as a Therapist
As a person who has experienced themselves not reflected in various spaces, I continuously and intentionally utilized my identity(ies), presence and voice to foster a therapeutic space that mirrors aspects of those I support. As such, I’m committed to making evidenced-based practices and therapies accessible in culturally responsive, strength based, and trauma-informed ways especially for people who have been historically marginalized.
