About My Clients
I primarily support individuals in their teens and twenties, with a focus on sex-positive, trauma-informed, somatic work. Many of my clients are exploring sexuality and/or identity, healing from consent violations or sexual assault, and finding somatic resources to assist them in finding ease in their bodies. I also offer couples counseling for parents to address the shifts in intimacy and relationships that come when children enter our families.
My Background and Approach
As someone with a social work background, my work is firmly grounded in social justice. Our experiences are impacted by the communities around us and how we engage with them, as well as our individual intersectionalities. In my work with clients, I utilize mindfulness and somatic approaches, with a focus on Sensorimotor Psychotherapy. I believe that our bodies carry a lot of wisdom and that, by including them in the work we do together, we can access deeper healing. My main goal is for us to work together, collaboratively, to assist you in finding the resources you already have and developing more, so that you can heal and thrive.
