About My Clients

Most of my career has been working with individuals and families who are dealing with cancer and grief and loss. Grief and loss can be the death of a loved one, but it can also be grief around loss of something we thought we'd do, or as a result of a chronic condition or diagnosis that dramatically changes your life. In addition, I have a strong background in working with adolescent girls struggling with anxiety, identity and perfectionism.

My Background and Approach

I believe that each client is different and so I tailor my approach to each person. I believe that you are the expert- and I will look to you for feedback and ideas. I am a Registered Yoga Teacher and I blend mindfulness, breathwork, and yoga postures into our work together. I received my Master's Degree from UNH and am a DSW candidate at Simmons University. I have a post-graduate certificate in End of Life and Palliative Care from Smith College.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

As a social worker, I believe that everyone deserves access to high quality treatment and support for their mental health regardless of who they are. We should not be less able to access certain things because of who we are or where we live. I am rooted in an advocacy lens and am always trying to find ways to improve the systems that my clients engage in. I look forward to getting the opportunity to get to know you and to share how I can support you along your path.
