My professional history involves working with individuals who have experienced trauma. Recognizing the impact of traumatic events on one’s mental and emotional well-being, I employ evidence-based therapeutic approaches to help clients heal and regain a sense of control over their lives. Through a trauma-informed lens, I provide a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients can process their experiences, develop coping strategies, and work toward post-traumatic growth.
I seek to walk with the clients I work with and create an environment that empowers them to not only cope with today but develop deep and sustainable change that will influence their lives as well as the lives of others in their communities. This background also prompts me to consider how structural inequities impact physical and mental health and how therapy can be one of many tools toward healing from historical and contemporary social issues.
Feeling trapped in a cycle where each day blurs into the next, and the future seems as bleak as the past? Even with the support of loved ones, you might still find yourself feeling unseen and alone. In these moments, days lose their meaning, frustration mounts, and the thought of pushing away those you care about becomes all too common. When the idea of "If I can't bear to see my pain, who else would want to?" creeps in, it might be time to reach out. I am ready to join you, when you are ready.
We all have moments in our lives when we need a little extra support, and it is a sign of strength to reach out for help in those times. It is in this spirit that I work to create a nonjudgmental and supportive environment in which together we can explore these challenges, heal wounds, engage your strengths, and learn new skills to help you live your best life.

My style is rooted in empathy, active listening, and evidence-based techniques. I understand that therapy can be a vulnerable and challenging process, and I strive to create a non-judgmental space where my clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and feelings. I enjoy working with adolescents, teenagers, and adults from all backgrounds. I aim to empower my clients to live a meaningful life. I look forward to hearing from you and how we can work together.
My clients tend to have a cluster b or cluster c personality disorders, are neurodivergent, like a therapist who is explicitly authentic, uses trauma informed interventions and self/disclosure fairly openly. They tend to prefer someone who is not trying to correct their thinking, help them think positively, or simply go “mmhmm yea” and tend to prefer someone who is more dynamic. My clients also enjoy the psycho educational aspects and integrative (reiki/somatic/yoga) aspects of the process
We live in a time where life is hard, complicated and we are being inundated with information. In our society we've been taught to push our feelings down, discount bad experiences and pretend we're fine. I aim to show up for my clients when they realize they want to feel more than "fine" and feel ready to explore any trauma or hardships they feel may be holding them back from their authentic selves. We aren't meant to do life alone and the therapeutic connection is a first step toward healing.
I work with clients who are feeling lost and stuck in situations that aren't serving them. I often see clients who are plagued by limiting beliefs that keep them feeling like they aren't enough. Or, they might be feeling frustrated by self-harming behaviors that they just can't stop. I specialize in clients who are nervous about going to therapy and feel worried that they won't know what to say or that they will "do it wrong." Don't worry - you can't do it wrong!
Do your feel dismissed, that your thoughts, ideas, feelings are not appreciated? Do you have a big decision to make or do you feel regret for one you've made? Experiences like this can leave you feeling overwhelmed, anxious, discouraged, resentful and hurt; leading to self-doubt and feeling angry, helpless, sad, or alone. Resentment can result in rash decisions or regrets. I help women like you by providing a space to think out loud without fear or unsolicited advice.

I have a particular passion for working with survivors of childhood abuse, domestic, and sexual violence. I am also well versed in and absolutely love working with the LGBTQIA, BIPOC, and Kink/Poly communities. What I love about working with survivors is fiercely holding hope while delicately encouraging the sparks of change at a time that can be so dark.
