About My Clients
Are you struggling on how to manage your mental health, not sure how to recognize if you need mental health help, or struggle with maintaining your relationships with anyone in your life? I have helped others overcome these challenges and help them take back control of their well being. I will work with you, never tell you what to do, in order to figure out the best solution to the challenges you face. Families, Couples, or by yourself - nothing is too great or small that we can’t work through.
My Background and Approach
A marriage and family therapist is not just limited to couples and families, we make sure that everyone has a voice by taking a systems approach to developing a solution with you. I want to make sure that your voice is heard and that your challenges are taken seriously. I work with my clients to develop solutions to the obstacles in their lives and try to work with everyone on it. I work on getting to the heart of the problem with people and listen to their story of how this challenge developed. We then work together to find a solution that will best resolve your obstacle. I want you to leave my services with the confidence and knowledge that you can and will be able to handle any mental health challenges that come your way in life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the ability to overcome any adversity they face, they just need a little help or guidance along the way. It is my perspective on mental health is that everyone will get “stuck” in their own cycle of trying to help themselves in a way that was never going to work for them. I enjoy working with my clients to help them develop solutions to their problems collaboratively. I want to work with you on how to best overcome these challenges, so I’ll never tell you what to do or what choice works best but I will make sure we figure it out together. Whether this is one-on-one work or in larger groups I make sure that everyone’s voice is heard. I believe that is the most important part of therapy, that you are listened to and taken into consideration. Whether it’s couples or family therapy, all voices will be heard in my practice and taken into account with developing the solution to your challenges.
