Grief and loss are a part of the human condition. Grief is typically considered to be brought on by the death of a loved one, but can also be triggered by any significant life-altering loss (such as a divorce or the loss of a job). Grief is a natural response to loss, but that doesn’t make it easy to deal with. Symptoms of grief may include sadness, loneliness, anger, denial, depression and a myriad of other thoughts and feelings. There is no “normal” amount of time for grief to pass, but if you find that your grief is not improving over time or that it is interfering with your everyday life, you may want to consider seeking professional help. A qualified grief counselor can help you to cope with the physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and cognitive responses to loss. Reach out to one of TherapyDen’s grief experts today.

About ½ my clients are couples. My individual clients represent a broad spectrum of society, from those who are struggling to pay their bills to those who are economically secure. My clients represent all genders and flavors of sexual orientations. The unifying characteristic that all my clients share is that they are looking for safety and are ready to work on healing the wounds that we all carry, to greater or lesser extents.

We often keep reproductive health experiences to ourselves or are responded to in unhelpful ways by those we confide in... which leads us to suffer in silence. But it doesn't have to be that way. Evidence-based tools, skills and support can make all the difference!! I can help you learn to thrive through infertility, pregnancy after infertility, the postpartum period and up through the toddler years.

I know making the decision to go to therapy can be scary, let’s talk about it. I welcome conversation from you about how you’re feeling and what you might be worried about with this process. I use tele-health on a HIPAA secure platform and can meet with any client in Washington State. Having a hard time finding a therapist that fits with your schedule? I offer limited evening and weekend appointment times.

I welcome you, whoever you are, wherever you come from. I seem to have strong connections with those who identify as kinky, polyamorous, and LGBTQ+. Belonging to all three communities, I have experienced feelings of self-judgment and the judgment of others. I like helping people find new stories to tell and new ways to live.
Online Therapy
I work with individuals and couples who are dealing with anxiety, trauma, sexuality, LGTBQ issues and/or life transitions, and are searching for better ways to understand themselves and navigate life. I also have a particular specialty working with athletes with identity struggles. Through a framework of attachment theory and relational psychoanalysis, we will explore your inner world together. In a trusting and non-judgmental relationship, I am honored to engage with your story and experiences.

I specialize in eating disorders, dissociative disorders & complex trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions. Our bodies hold deep wisdom but for many, as a result of trauma, emotional and physical distress, and systemic oppression, to name a few, the connection to this wisdom has been disrupted and damaged. I will meet you where ever you are at in the process as we learn to listen to what your body and story hold.

As an existentially trained therapist I believe that most people can benefit from therapy - sometimes especially those who are “OK”, “making it to the weekend,” and yet have a deep sense that something is wrong. How to live wisely and with integrity is a question perhaps more urgent than ever amidst the constant change and uncertainty all around us. More specifically, my lived experience as a nonbinary person means that I "get" what that's like in a way that cis therapists may not.

I work with couples, family members, and individuals experiencing disconnection, anger, or distress in their intimate relationships. I work with couples who report a breakdown in communication, difficulty repairing broken trust or who are finding their footing again after the transition to parenthood. In my work with individuals, I see adults who are in transition or are hoping to gain greater insight about themselves.
*Taking new clients. Reduced rates available.* I work with adult women via Telehealth with depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, and transitions. I love supporting people walking through darkness. I help you make sense of what you are going through, see your blind spots, embrace your strengths, equip you with coping skills, help you find your own road map, be with your feelings, and become your favorite version of yourself.

My clients are successful professionals who, despite their external success, often feel hampered by their private thoughts. They are frequently people on edge and who spend too much time analyzing the day's or past conversations, rehashing them repeatedly. Often these thoughts get in the way of their relationship, hobbies, and enjoying life to its fullest. I use cognitive and mindfulness technics to help people finding a new way forward.
