About My Clients
My specialties are relationship issues, depression, loss (including pet loss), work stress, life transitions, and general anxiety. Common relationship issues that I work with include: abandonment fears, difficulty trusting others, frequent conflicts, breakups, or divorce.
My Background and Approach
My experience consists of counseling adult clients in a variety of settings, including private practice, at a local non-profit, on-site at clients’ workplaces, in a day shelter for people experiencing homelessness, & a college counseling center. I mostly work with a psychodynamic framework, but can incorporate mindfulness & cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as warranted by your needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an animal & arts lover! If I have free time I enjoy volunteering at an animal sanctuary and a center for the arts. For the past 15+ years I have lived a mostly vegan lifestyle and know, firsthand, the passion that goes along with this choice.
