About My Clients
My clients are typically working moms & caregivers feeling as if they need support and ways to manage stress with support and mindfulness techniques. I invite my clients to join me in support groups as well as individual sessions to provide ways to conquer anxiety, and the stress and daily challenges of caregiving. I also have teen groups that build self esteem, confidence and reduce anxiety through mindfulness. I also invite teen athletes to learn mindfulness to manage performance pressure.
My Background and Approach
My background includes working with pre-teens and teenagers in schools as well as working parents and aging adults at MGH Boston. Also I focus on the sandwhich generation - who is caring for children while also caring for their elderly parents. I have specific training in dementia with very strong background in Frontotemporal dementia or FTD.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal belief is that mental health IS health and that everyone deserves the ability to live a life free of anxiety depression and stress. This can be cultivated through a supportive and compassionate counseling experience where tools and interventions are shared and learned in a psychologically safe environment. This support comes in an accepting environment with no judgement or pressure.
