My goal is to help my clients feel supported, empowered, validated, and appropriately challenged in their therapy journey.
My Background and Approach
I am a licensed professional counselor and I specialize in anxiety and grief. I have experience in helping clients struggling with life transitions and self-care practices. I utilize a client-centered and humanistic approach. I approach therapy as a collaborative experience with a focus on empathy, understanding, and empowerment. I have been in the mental health field for over 8 years and opened my practice in 2020.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe at the end of the day we are all human beings who have our own struggles, both big and small. I am a huge advocate for affordable health care and the mental health awareness movement. I believe that we all have the power to change and grow personally. I believe in this scary and uncertain world we live in, there is still so much beauty and moments of pure joy. In my free time, I enjoy reading, writing, and spending time with family and friends.
