About My Clients
I work with a range of individual, adult clients, including LGBTQ+ (particularly transgender and non-binary individuals), neurodivergent individuals, activists, artists/creatives, college students, lawyers, and teachers.
My Background and Approach
I am a person-centered therapist, working to create a space where you can be unapologetically yourself. I draw on my professional and personal experience (particularly as an Autistic, transgender woman) to provide non-judgmental, compassionate and affirming support to individuals navigating the complexities of life, including dealing with depression and anxiety, navigating significant life transitions, and exploring gender identity and sexuality. The goal in my work is to help clients identify what is fulfilling to them, and work to overcome obstacles and take steps towards that fulfillment. Together, we’ll work to identify your strengths and cultivate a sense of authenticity and self-acceptance. Working from a perspective of cultural humility and drawing from evidence-based practices, I tailor therapy to meet your specific needs and goals. I commit to providing you with the support you need to thrive in all aspects of your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My therapy approach is rooted in understanding, respect, and empowerment. Whether you're seeking guidance in your coming out process, exploring your identity, coping with discrimination, or managing mental health concerns, I offer a safe and non-judgmental environment where you can explore your thoughts and feelings openly.
