About My Clients
I specialize in working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community, and also people identified as Gifted/Talented - "gifted, geeky, and queer." I counsel people with gender and/or sexuality issues (such as coming out, family issues, relationship problems, HRT support), and I am sex positive and knowledgable in polyamory, ethical nonmonogamy, kink, and alternative lifestyles. I work with adolescents, teens, young adults, and adults. Sensitive, intuitive and empathetic.
My Background and Approach
Person-centered, solution focused talk therapy with cognitive behavioral & mindfulness techniques. My goal is to help you figure out who you are, and then how to be that person to the best of your ability. Board Certified National Counselor, Board Certified Hypnotherapist, WPATH member, Certified Level III Reiki Master. President of TxSAIGE division of TCA. I graduated with a BA in psychology and women's studies from Trinity University, and a Master's in Community Counseling from UTSA. I am “all but dissertation” as a doctoral student at St. Mary's University. I am passionate about advocating for trans youth at the state legislature. People tell me they naturally feel comfortable talking and opening up to me.
