About My Clients
I provide counseling services to adults, couples, and teens who are struggling with anxiety, stress, depression, and relationship issues. In our sessions, I will help you face your defenses and deal with self-judgment, loneliness, fear, weakness, and embarrassment. Together, we will navigate through your emotional challenges by sorting through confusion, exploring the root of your issues, and empowering you toward self-love and acceptance.
My Background and Approach
My approach to counseling is integrative, meaning I focus on all dimensions of your experience - cognitive, creative, energetic, physical, emotional, and spiritual. My goal is to promote a healthy mind-body connection by enriching dialog, connection, and awareness. To achieve this, I use a variety of therapeutic techniques including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Person-Centered, Attachment Styles, Cognitive Behavioral, Yoga Movement, and Psychodynamic therapies. I also incorporate expressive arts and mindfulness exercises to support the process. I am eager to help those who struggle with finding their place and voice, express their emotions, and promote education toward understanding.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
You should never feel alone, and it's always okay to seek support for whatever you are going through. It's perfectly fine to want someone to help you, provide support, offer a different perspective, and listen to you. I am aware that there is a stigma attached to seeking mental health assistance, and I strive to educate people on the importance of obtaining quality mental health care in diverse communities.
