About My Clients
I work with individuals of all ages who seek to improve their communication skills, stress management, self-esteem, and any symptoms related to mental health diagnoses. My ideal clients are courageous and curious to know themselves more deeply, motivated to take steps towards identifying what is helping and hindering them in living the life they want, and and are open-minded to learning and practicing new ways of tending to their relationships with self and others- and dusting off old ones too!
My Background and Approach
My counseling approach is tailored to each individual's unique needs. My professional experience in residential, community, and inpatient and outpatient mental health settings has provided me the opportunity to develop a diverse range of skills that I implement in sessions. Drawing from evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy, I focus on cultivating awareness and insight into the thought and behavior patterns that impact your daily functioning. My aim is to help you move through life’s challenges and experience safety, connection, joy and a deep sense of self worth and acceptance.

I want therapy to be what you need it to be. Your therapy session is time dedicated solely to you, and my hope is that we are able to spend our time being present; focusing on any of life’s challenges, changes, or celebrations you’d like to discuss. Building a trusting relationship is key to a positive experience in counseling and I strive to provide my clients with a safe, non-judgmental, and empathetic space where they can openly express their thoughts and feelings.
