A great education can take you a long way and combined with both my clinical and life experiences I can help you craft a new way of living beyond the pain you feel right now. My training and credentials have developed my strengths to see the big picture - how your struggles may affect your relationships, your job and most There is no one importantly, your true self. There is no "one size fits all" approach . We are all individuals with unique and developing needs, goals and dreams. I use an eclectic approach, tailoring our work together as guided by your needs. You will discover some hidden strengths, learn new techniques, uncover forgotten values and finally rediscover yourself. Your new "toolbox" will grow allowing you to have the inner resources at your fingertips when you need them most.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in hope and strength and inner truth. I know you can be the hero of your own story and change your right now to create a happier tomorrow. My own experiences show me that there is a way out of fear and anyone can begin again. I believe people are resilient yet we must use and practice these skills by challenging the unknown and facing fear. This philosophy is especially helpful in these current times of pandemic illness, fear and isolation. We are in this together and we will come through this. Fear is often described as False Evidence Appearing Real so limiting exposure to the media has been very effective for me to calm my anxieties. Connecting with family and friends through phone calls, texting, video chatting and even cross platform gaming goes a long way. Follow the simple guidelines - stay home, practice healthy eating & exercise (6 feet away from anyone else, of course) and wash your hands often.
