About My Clients
I work primarily with clients who are exploring gender identity, or who are transgender, nonbinary, genderqueer, or members of the LGBTQIA+ community. I also work with clients wishing to address issues related to sex or sexuality. My work is sex positive and weight neutral. I welcome clients seeking support that is affirming in the areas of non-monogamy and kink. Even if you aren't a member of the communities I've mentioned, if my approach resonates with you, let's talk!
My Background and Approach
I work mostly with teens and adults. My practice is online only. My first goal is to provide a comfortable and safe space in which we can work together toward your goals. I believe you are the expert on yourself, and that you have the ability to create an authentic and balanced life- my job is to be your collaborator on that journey, and to provide a space where you can be heard and find practical solutions, free from judgment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe the personal is political, and that it's essential for therapists to incorporate an awareness of how racism, sexism, discrimination, marginalization, and oppression impact individuals and communities.
