About My Clients
Often, the individuals I support are hurting, overwhelmed, stressed, disconnected, or filled with uncertainty. As an empathetic and collaborative therapist, I will join you in uncovering what is really important to you and exploring how to access and enliven those values in ways that are authentic and true to your whole self. I would be honored to help you choose a life with purpose, embrace what matters, and start healing.
My Background and Approach
Through individual counseling, I hope to offer a safe space to explore hurts, challenges, and transitions while honoring each person’s unique experience, self-determination, and growth. I would describe my therapeutic style as relaxed, reflective, and I often encourage individuals to explore their “why’s” and personal values to promote self-discovery and living a life with meaning. My approach is dynamic and not limited to one modality, though I am keen on approaching therapy from a humanistic lens and enjoy working with themes of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy. I received a Bachelor of Arts from Willamette University and a Masters in Social Work from the University of Washington. I am also certified in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) and am a Washington State Approved Supervisor.
