About My Clients
I enjoy working with individual, teens (15+), families and couples from a collaborative standpoint. I aid in cultivating alternative stories for those that want to work through multi-generational trauma and identity work. I have special interest in helping couples navigate boundaries, intimacy, building trust and connection. My interests includes sex therapy and relational counseling, particularly non-dominant relationships structures, intimacy and desires.
My Background and Approach
I don't pretend to know what you feel or what you've experienced. I ask a lot of questions to get a sense of the blocks and barriers that you feel may be holding you back from living a fulfilling life. My hope is for you to gain the introspection and tools necessary for you to feel supported, validated and encouraged to live and embrace all parts of you. I utilize a systemic theoretical approach and incorporate Narrative Therapy into my work with clients. I have additional training in Brainspotting and Gottman Method Couples Therapy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe clients can benefit from gaining insight in order to weed out what works and what they want to grow from. I trust that you know all there is to know about your own strengths and areas of improvement and I hope to encourage and empower continued growth.
