The elderly population is growing at a very rapid rate. Many Seniors can benefit from counseling around aging areas, caregiving and adjustment to losses. I have worked as a bereavement counselor in hospice.

Many people experience some type of depression in their lifetime. I use various strategies to assist with the treatment for depression. We explore the origins, history and factors contributing to depression.

I believe in a holistic treatment of the whole person. For example, exploring their experiences and feelings during their journey in life.

During grief work I focus on attachment issues and the impact on the loss. The level of attachment can be more challenging if there was a conflictual relationship.
