Treating trauma is "simple, not easy". We work on building coping skills and connections in a safe and supportive environment before moving onto the trauma. I provide long-term counseling, where we work to release your internal world from the grips of the trauma. For quicker options, there is a short-term option called Written Exposure Therapy, which is five sessions of journaling. My education is based on being a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional

If you have ever said "there's a part of me that feels..." then you are already on track to work with me. You have a whole world of thoughts, feelings, and behaviors bundled into your 'parts'. These parts are their own entities within us, that you can build a relationship with and get to know. Together we can explore how they got their jobs, what their goals are, and working to help continue doing their best to help us.

If you want to get right to the point, our work with solution-focused therapy is for you. Working towards your miracle is the center of our focus, and we address obstacles that keep you from reaching that dream. I've been using this as long as I have been practicing, having my foundational skills from my MSW Education, and have employed from the simplest issues to complex cases

Surviving a life threatening event can open the eyes to a world never thought of before: one of constant dangers and threats surrounding you and your loved ones. This could be anything for anyone, but some examples are car accidents, threats of violence and being held at weapon point, physical or sexual assault, surviving medical emergencies or other major disaster. Together we can work together to relax the hypervigilance enough so you can enjoy the world with some peace.

The only you are taught to parent is the way you have been parented. Sometimes it doesn’t feel like you’re doing a good enough job. I worked for over two years doing Intensive In-Home Therapy, partnering with parents and families to cope with behaviors from trauma, depression, and anxiety and helped improve the overall climate in houses. I know you can parent intentionally, compassionately, and courageously breaking the cycle that has been passed down.

You are a source of imagination and introspection. Your ADHD be is a complicated force to be reckoned with and often leads to depression, anxiety, and poor self-esteem. Through our work you can become more in tune with it and build the skills necessary to manage it on a daily basis. You are an ‘out of the box’ and like onions, with many layers that need peeling. I’d love to meet with you and see what we discover.

Tense and irritable? Feeling the pressure of productivity but caught in paralysis? Are you carrying the weight of the world? Do you have ADHD and feel like you can't keep up? Anxiety's grip feels strong, and biologically it has the best of intentions. Your fear reaction is not helpful, and you need to find ways to guide it in helping you problem solve. Together we can discover the intentions and find helpful ways your body's natural reactions can work for you.

You would conquer the world if you had the energy to get up and do it. Depression can hold you back from enjoying the many adventures life holds. Whether it’s camping, world travels, or conquering new skills, depression can feel like a black void or weight holding you back. In our work together, I'll help you make friends with your depression, see what it's holding onto, and work with it to help you gain traction.

I can assure you that you are welcome here in this space. I've built a whole person program to do more than just talk: Depth oriented individual work to unburden the wounds, creative exploration (with a sprinkle of skills, because they are still needed), and nature based work to fill up your cup.
